Must be a graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) accredited school of OT
Current State License
Review physician's orders, patient's health status and records to determine occupational therapy treatment required.
Prepares, implements, evaluates and provides for ongoing patient care.
Provides direct occupational therapy to improve range of motion, muscle strength, endurance and coordination.
Provides direct occupational therapy to improve concentration and attention span through organization and problem solving.
Provides direct occupational therapy to improve visual spatial relations, body scheme, body image and motion planning.
Provides direct occupational therapy to improve the ability to perform activities of daily living.
Documents treatment techniques, patient progress, patient changes and emotional reactions as required by the healthcare facility.
